Estate Planning & Succession
Estate planning decides how assets, responsibilities, and decision-making authority pass on. Succession planning extends this further for business owners. It addresses who leads the company next, how ownership transfers to them, and how operations continue without interruption.

Decisions made in advance
Wealth built over years can be put at risk by decisions that are never made or never formally put in place. A Will was never registered, a successor was never named, a family was never told what happens next, and the people closest to a founder are left to guess at their intentions at the hardest possible time.
Estate Planning Partners puts those decisions into a form UAE authorities and institutions will recognise, while there is still time to choose deliberately.
A Will only takes effect after death and probate, a process that can take months. It provides no plan for incapacity, and no plan for a business that needs to keep running today.
How Estate Planning Partners plans
Estate Planning Partners drafts and registers Wills through the DIFC Courts Wills Service Centre and the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Wills Registry, and builds succession and family governance frameworks around them, so a plan holds together as one structure rather than a collection of separate documents. Where a Foundation already holds the family's assets, succession is resolved at the structure itself: the council continues, whether the founder has passed away or is temporarily unable to act.
Situations we plan for
A founder has never formally named a successor, and the business has no instructions for the day it needs one. Estate Planning Partners structures that succession in advance, so the company continues under clear direction.
A family holds Wills drafted separately in different countries, each written without knowledge of the other. Estate Planning Partners reviews how they sit together and structures the UAE side of the plan to account for them.
A founder has young children, and no guardian has been legally appointed for them. Estate Planning Partners puts that appointment in place.
A Will or ownership structure was set up years ago, and the family's circumstances have since changed. Estate Planning Partners reviews and updates the plan to reflect the family it was written for.
A plan that acts immediately
A Will takes effect only after death, once probate confirms it. A Foundation already owns what it holds, so its council can act immediately. For families ready to move beyond a Will alone, Estate Planning Partners builds that structure directly.
No Two Plans Are The Same
Every engagement begins with an advisory assessment of what a family holds, where, and who it is intended for. Each plan is structured around that family, and the businesses they have built. As circumstances change, the plan is revisited.
